Aquila Private Game Reserve
The prestigious malaria free Aquila Private Game Reserve stands in an area of 4,500 hectares of Southern Karoo Highlands encapsulating breathtaking majestic mountains, rivers, valleys and kloofs. It is home to Cape Town's closest Rhino and Giraffes and was proclaimed a private nature reserve in 1985. All cottages are designed in a unique eco-country style. Raw materials such as rock, river pebbles, natural wood, reeds and thatch have been used wherever possible to maintain a natural look. Each cottage has its own private patio and braai area.
