Golf
'n Game - Tours
At Golf ‘n Game, we design a tour around your needs. We do not have prescribed itineraries, but allow you the freedom to choose: whether you want to play three courses or five, stay one week or three, the choice is yours. If you have a preference for particular courses, or wish us to decide for you, it is entirely up to you.
Similarly, if you would prefer to maximise your golf time and not enjoy the game experience, we have a number of alternative ways of filling your days off: wine-tasting, fine dining and luxury spa indulgences, sedate sight-seeing, shopping or simply lounging by the pool – the options are almost endless.
Within each region, we have presented a few of the hotels, golf and game venues available, but the list is by no means exhaustive. If you have a personal preference or request which is not represented, please let us know, and we will ensure that your choice is included in your trip.
Cape
Town-Winelands Golf Tour
Cape Town, known as the Mother City, is considered
to be one of the most beautiful in the world.
Your tour will begin and end in this city,
world-renowned for it’s white sandy
beaches, surrounding Winelands, warm Mediterranean
climate, and Table Mountain, which overlooks
the city. The friendly people of Cape Town
and surrounds will help us ensure that your
stay here is unforgettable. (We recommend
this area should you wish to travel to South
Africa between November – March.)
Garden
Route Golf Tour
The Garden Route extends from Mossel Bay to
Storm’s River, and includes some of
the most spectacular scenery in South Africa.
Framed by the Outeniqua, Tsitsikamma and Langeberg
mountains, this area has magnificent rivers,
beaches and wildlife. Many of the country’s
premier coastal resorts can be found in this
area, along with the towns of Knysna, Plettenberg
Bay and George. (We recommend this area should
you wish to travel to South Africa between
November – April.)
Gauteng-Sun
City Golf Tour
Gauteng, meaning ‘Place of Gold’
in Sotho, is the new name for the Witwatersrand-Vaal
Triangle region, one of the fastest growing
industrial regions in Africa. Its capital,
Johannesburg is a vibrant, truly African city,
where traditional meets modern in a culturally
diverse and fast-paced melting pot. Your tour
will also take you to Sun City, brainchild
of Sol Kerzner, who converted the desert into
a must-see fantasy international resort. (We
recommend this area should you wish to travel
to South Africa between May – August.)
Kwazulu
Natal Golf Tour
Famous for its sandy beaches and impressive
surf, this area also boasts 2 coastlines,
north and south of Durban. The sub-tropical
climate makes this area pleasant in the South
African winter, and allows for spectacular
fauna and flora, both on and off the golf
course. Durban itself has a truly cosmopolitan
mix of restaurants, flea-markets and cultures.
(We recommend this area should you wish to
travel to South Africa between April – October.)
